DESCRIPTION
Seriesof DC/DC converters offers watts output power from single, dual, triple output configurations. They operate over full military temperature range with efficiency. converters packaged hermetically sealed metal cases, making them ideal military, aerospace other high reliability applications.
SYNCHRONIZATION
Synchronizing converter with system clock allows designer confine switching noise clock transitions, minimizing interference reducing need filtering. sync mode, converter will frequency between kHz. sync control operates with quasi-TTL signal duty cycle between 60%. sync must connected input common when use.
CONVERTER DESIGN
converters constant frequency, pulse-width modulated switching regulators which quasi-square wave, single ended, forward converter design. Tight load regulation maintained wide bandwidth magnetic feedback and, single output models, through remote sense. dual output models, positive output independently regulated negative output cross regulated through tightly coupled magnetics shunt regulators. Series triple output DC/DC converter's design includes individual regulators auxiliary outputs which provide cross regulation error when minimum load maintained main (+5) output. Indefinite short circuit protection overload protection provided constant current-limit feature. This protective system senses current converter's secondary stage limits approximately 115% maximum rated output current. converters provided with internal filtering capacitors that help reduce need external components normal operation. systems that require compliance with MIL-STD-461C's CE03 standard, Interpoint offers filter/transient suppression modules (including FMC-461, FMD-461 FM-704A series filters) which will result compliance. WIDE VOLTAGE RANGE
