DESCRIPTION
MHP270 SeriesDC/DC converters provide watts output power over full -55°C 100°C temperature range. MHP270 models operate from MIL-STD-704 nominal volt power from continuous operation with surges volts provide isolated outputs VDC. Parallel operation loading conditions supported without requirement external components. MHP270 DC/DC converters constant frequency, pulse width modulated switching power supplies which quasi-square wave, two-switch single-ended forward converter design. Tight load regulation achieved through wide-bandwidth magnetic feedback circuit. five single output converters used parallel power single load simply connecting share pins units. Units this configuration have current sharing accuracy over loading conditions. Series converters feature flexible synchronization scheme which units synchronized external clock another using sync sync pins provided each unit. converters have nominal switching frequency kHz, synchronized frequency from kHz. converters meet wide variety military/aerospace performance environmental specifications. Their continuous operation input voltage (160 400) meets normal operating limits MILSTD-704. unit shuts down above approximately volts, rated withstand surge volts msec. units built fully hermetic thick film hybrids Interpoint's MILSTD-1772 certified facilities. MHP270 Series offer complete list standard features which include: Undervoltage lock-out shuts down when input line voltage falls below approximately provide smooth initialization. Continuous short circuit protection current limit approximately 125%. Soft-start controlled start-up turn-on, release from inhibit, recovery from load fault conditions. Remote sense provide automatic compensation voltage drops output lines single output models.
