Evaluation Board Manual Operation sequence
power supply lines. [AVDD] [TVDD] [D3V] [VCC] [AGND] [DGND] (Red) (Orange) (Orange) (Red) (Black) (Black) 4.75 5.25V (typ. 5.0V, AVDD, TVDD AK5366VR) 5.25V (typ. 3.3V, DVDD AK5366VR) 5.25V (typ. 3.3V, 74LVC541) (for logic circuit digital part) (for analog ground) (for logic ground)
Each supply line should distributed from power supply unit. TVDD must same voltage level. evaluation mode, jumper pins switches. (See followings.) Power AK5366VR AK4103 should reset once bringing upon power-up.
Evaluation mode
Slave Mode When evaluating AK5366VR using AK4103, setting AK5366VR's audio interface format should same AK4103's format. setting AK5366VR (No.1 (I2C) parallel mode, serial mode) should same setting AK4103 (No.1 SW3). About AK5366VR's audio interface format, refer AK5366VR's datasheet. About AK4103's audio interface format, Table3. (1-1) evaluation using function AK4103 PORT1 (DIT) used. generates audio bi-phase signal from received data which output through optical connector (TOTX176). possible connect AKM's converter evaluation boards digital-amplifier which equips input. Nothing should connected PORT2 (ROM). case using external clock through connector (J13), select (CLK) short (XTE) open (EXT).

Control Software Manual Set-up evaluation board control software
AKD5366VR-A according "Evaluation Board Manual". Connect IBM-AT compatible with AKD5366VR-A 10-line type flat cable (packed with AKD5366VR-A). Take care direction 10pin header. (Please install driver CD-ROM when this control software used Windows 2000/XP. Please refer "Installation Manual Control Software Driver device control software". case Windows95/98/ME, this installation needed. This control software does operate Windows NT.) Insert CD-ROM labeled "AKD5366VR-A Evaluation Kit" into CD-ROM drive. Access CD-ROM drive double-click icon "akd5366vr-a.exe" control program. Please evaluate according following.
