Operation Sequence
power supply voltages fallowing ranges. [+15] (green) =+12V+18V [-15] (blue) -12V-18V [4358_VD] (red) 4.755.25V [4358_VA] (red) 4.755.25V [4114_5V] (red) 4.755.25V(Note2) [AGND] (black) [DGND] (black) Notes: Each supply line should distributed from power supply unit. "4358_VA" should selected (AVDD) "4114_5V" should selected (4114_5V) power supplies AK4358,digital circuit ,and DIR(AK4114) supplied from regulator. Set-up jumper pins switches desired mode. (See Evaluation Mode Setup.) Power AK4358 should reset once bringing SW1(PDN) upon power-up.

Feeding data clocks from external source following set-up allows MCLK, BICK, LRCK SDATA from external source AK4358. AKD4358-B gives choices ports input these clocks data. PORT3 want input separate data SDTI1, SDTI2, SDTI3, SDTI4. PORT4 want input only data stream select which AK4358 data input pins send data select this JP10, JP11, JP12, JP13. Shorting these jumpers will send data that individual SDTI open will leave pull down resister connected that SDTI pin.

Feeding 1bit data clocks from external source following set-up allows 1bit data DCLK (pin#22), DSDL1,2,3,4(pin#25,27,29,23), DSDR1,2,3,4(pin#26,28,30,24) pins from external source. This achieved feeding these signals PORT5(DSD_port). Make sure JP4(DAC_MCLK) EXT, while other clock jumpers left open.

Control Software Manual Set-up evaluation board control software
AKD4358-B according previous term. Connect IBM-AT compatible with AKD4358-B 10-line type flat cable (packed with AKD4358-B Take care direction 10pin header. (Please install driver CD-ROM when this control software used Windows 2000/XP. Please refer "Installation Manual Control Software Driver device control software". case Windows95/98/ME, this installation needed. This control software does operate Windows NT.) Insert CD-ROM labeled "AKD4358-B Evaluation Kit" into CD-ROM drive. Access CD-ROM drive double-click icon "akd4358-b.exe" control program. Then please evaluate according follows.
