AMS4154 NUMBERS NAME DESCRIPTION Bootstrap. capacitor needed drive power switch's drive above supply voltage. connected between pins form floating supply across power switch driver. Supply Voltage. AMS4154 operates from a+5.5V +32V unregulated input. needed prevent large voltage spikes from appearing input. Switch. This connects inductor through internal power switch. Ground. This ground voltage reference regulated output voltage. this reason care must taken layout. Feedback. external resistor divider from output GND, tapped sets output voltage. Compensation. This node output transconductance error amplifier input current comparator. Frequency compensation done this node connecting series ground. Enable. voltage greater than 2.5V enables operation. complete current shutdown voltage needs less than 2.3V. reference voltage capable supplying other external circuits.
