GENERAL DESCRIPTION
patent-pending ACT8701 complete, costeffective, highly-efficient ActivePMUpower management solution that ideal wide range portable handheld equipment. This device integrates step-down DC/DC converters, stepup DC/DC converter with over-voltage protection (OVP), full-featured, linear-mode battery charger into single, thin, space-saving package. REG1 REG2 fixed-frequency, current-mode step-down DC/DC converters that optimized high efficiency capable supplying 350mA 550mA, respectively. REG3 fixed-frequency, step-up DC/DC converter that configured generate 3.3V buck/boost output used wide variety regulatedvoltage applications such panel biasing. battery charger incorporates internal power MOSFET thermally regulated charging single-cell battery. ACT8701 available tiny 24-pin Thin-QFN package that just 0.75mm thin.
