GENERAL DESCRIPTION
patent-pending ACT8700 complete, costeffective, highly-efficient ActivePMUpower management solution that ideal wide range portable handheld equipment. This device integrates step-down DC/DC converters, stepup DC/DC converter with over-voltage protection (OVP) WLED bias, full-featured, linearmode battery charger-into single, thin, spacesaving package. REG1 REG2 fixed-frequency, current-mode step-down DC/DC converters that optimized high efficiency capable supplying 350mA 500mA, respectively. REG3 fixed-frequency, step-up DC/DC converter that safely efficiently biases string seven white-LEDs backlighting. battery charger incorporates internal power MOSFET thermally regulated charging single-cell battery. ACT8700 available tiny 24-pin Thin-QFN package that just 0.75mm thin.
