Description: NTE1916 positive 3-terminal voltage regulator type package suitable numerous applications requiring 1.5A. Current limiting included limit peak output current safe value. Safe area protection output transistor provided limit internal power dissipation. internal power dissipation becomes high heat sinking provided, thermal shutdown circuit takes over limiting temperature. Although designed primarily fixed voltage regulator, NTE1916 used with external components obtain adjustable voltages currents.
