SERIES FTSC SIGNAL CONDITIONERS TURBINE FLOWMETERS
Economical signal conditioners designed with turbine flowmeters. model FTSC2, when used with modulated carrier (RF) pickoff, generates carrier frequency which modulated rotating blades turbine rotor. This eliminates effects magnetic drag, greatly extending range linearity small meters flow rates. Exotic corrosion resistant materials (e.g. Hastelloy typically impede signal output magnetic pickoffs. enhanced version FTSC2 selected such applications. model FTSC1 conditions output standard magnetic pickoff converting level signal pickoff into clean pulse outputs. Both signal conditioners used with wide range power supply voltages product output pulses proportional rotational rate turbine meter rotor. output signals transmitted over wire lengths excess mile (1.6 km).
