SERIAL DATA POLYNOMIAL GENERATOR/CHECKER
F402 expandable Serial Data Polynomial generator/checker expandable version F401. provides advanced tool implementation most widely used error detection scheme serial digital handling systems. 4-bit control input selects one-of-six generator polynomials. list polynomials includes CRC-16, CRC-CCITT Ethernet, well three other standard polynomials (56th order, 48th order, 32nd order). Individual clear preset inputs provided floppy disk other applications. Error output indicates whether transmission error occurred. Control input inhibits feedback during check word transmission. F402 compatible with Advanced Schotty (FAST) devices fully compatible with families.
