OP07 series units substituted directly into 725, 108A/ 308A, OP05 sockets with without removal external compensation nulling components. Additionally, OP07 used unnulled type sockets. However, conventional nulling circuitry use, should modified removed enable proper OP07 operation. OP07 offset voltage nulled zero through potentiometer (see offset nulling circuit diagram).
PRECISION ABSOLUTE-VALUE CIRCUIT
OP07 provides stable operation with load capacitance swings; larger capacitances should decoupled with decoupling resistor. Stray thermoelectric voltages generated dissimilar metals contacts input terminals degrade drift performance. Therefore, best operation will obtained when both input contacts maintained same temperature, preferably close package temperature.
