DESCRIPTION:
Space Electronics' 768RP 16-bit, high-speed digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that offers exceptional performance. device manufactured with Advanced Bipolar CMOS process, combining speed bipolar transistors, accurancy laser-trimmable thin film resistors, efficiency CMOS logic. segmented current source architecture combined with proprietary switching technique reduce glitch energy maximize dynamic accuracy. Edge triggered input latches temperature compensated bandgap reference have been integrated provide complete monolithic solution. 768RP current-output with nominal full-scale output current output impedance. Differential current outputs provided support single-ended differential applications. current outputs tied directly output resistor provide voltage output, summing junction high-speed amplifier provide buffered voltage output. Also, differential outputs interfaced transformer differential amplifier. on-chip reference control amplifier configured maximum accuracy flexibility. 768RP driven on-chip reference variety external reference voltages based selection external resistor. external capacitor allows user optimally trade reference band-width noise performance. 768RP operates supplies, typically consuming power. available with packaging screening Class
