GENERAL DESCRIPTION
PAL16R8 Family (PAL16L8, PAL16R8, PAL16R6, PAL16R4) includes PAL16R8-5/4 Series which provides highest speed 20-pin device family, making series ideal high-performance applications. PAL16R8 Family provided with standard 20-pin PLCC pinouts 28-pin PLCC pinout. 28-pin PLCC pinout contains seven extra ground pins interleaved between outputs reduce noise increase speed. devices provide user-programmable logic replacing conventional SSI/MSI gates flip-flops reduced chip count. family allows systems engineer implement design on-chip, opening fuse links configure gates within device, according desired logic function. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION Standard 20-Pin Family
standard bipolar 20-pin family devices have common electrical characteristics programming procedures. Four different devices available, including both registered combinatorial devices. parts produced with fuse link each input gate array, connections selectively removed applying appropriate voltages circuit. Utilizing easily-implemented programming algorithm, these products rapidly programmed customized pattern. Extra test words preprogrammed during manufacturing ensure extremely high field programming yields, provide extra test paths achieve excellent parametric correlation.
Registers with Feedback
