DESCRIPTION:
Space Electronics' 4426/7/8 highly reliable, dual low-side MOSFET drivers, processed power consumption high efficiency. These drivers translate CMOS input logic levels output voltage levels that swing within 25mV positive supply ground. 4426/7/8 family devices available dual inverting, dual non-inverting inverting plus non-inverting outputs. SEI4426/7/8 MOSFET drivers suitable driving other loads, which require low-impedance, high peak current, fast switching times. Other applications include receivers star-trackers.

APPLICATIONS INFORMATION
Supply Bypassing Large currents required charge discharge large capacitive loads quickly. example, changing 1000pF load 25ns requires 0.8A from supply input. guarantee supply impedance over wide frequency range, parallel capacitors recommended power supply bypassing. Low-inductance ceramic capacitors with short lead lengths 0.5") should used. film capacitor parallel with ceramic capacitors normally provides adequate bypassing. Grounding When using inverting drivers, individual ground returns input output circuits ground plane recommended optimum switching speed. voltage drop that occurs between driver's ground input signal ground, during normal high-current switching, will behave negative feedback degrade switching speed. Control Input Unused driver inputs must connected logic high (which ground. lowest quiescent current connect unused inputs ground. logic-high signal will cause driver draw drivers designed with control input hysteresis. This provides clean transitions minimizes output stage current spikes when changing states. control input voltage threshold approximately 1.5V. control input recognizes 1.5V logic high draws less than within this range.
