CA3080 CA3080A types Gatable-Gain Blocks which utilize unique (OTA) concept described Application Note AN6668, "Applications CA3080 CA3080A HighPerformance Operational Transconductance Amplifiers". CA3080 CA3080A types have differential input single-ended, push-pull, class output. addition, these types have amplifier bias input which used either gating linear gain control. These types also have high output impedance their transconductance (gM) directly proportional amplifier bias current (IABC). CA3080 CA3080A types notable their excellent slew rate (50V/µs), which makes them especially useful multiplexer fast unity-gain voltage followers. These types especially applicable multiplexer applications because power consumed only when devices "ON" channel state. CA3080A's characteristics specifically controlled applications such sample-hold, gain-control, multiplexing, etc.
