HT6280 Alarm Decoder
Operating voltage: 3V~5V power consumption high noise immunity CMOS technology Built-in oscillator needs only resistor trinary address codes decoder control data outputs
local alarm trigger inputs: TRIG, AL+, ALValid transmission indicator (LED) disarms whole alarm system Easy interface with medium
General Description
HT6280 18-bit decoder CMOS designed remote control alarm system. When complemented triggered HT600/HT640/HT680 DATA triggered HT6187/HT6207/HT6247 encoder from range series encoders, complete remote alarm system formed. details encoders found relevant databook encoder section. After receiving bits information from encoder HT6280 interprets first bits address last bits control signal data. these received bits address matches that locally address then data bits latched control function executed. Three types control function incorporated device, these arm/disarm, panic power on/off. HT6280 also provides momentary data outputs other user defined special purposes.

Functional Description
Operation Arm/disarm control
After power HT6280 receives data word from series encoders. interprets first bits code address last bits data. decoder then compares received address with local address code twice successively. received address code match local address code, data bits decoded output pins.
Power initial
HT6280 state inital power
signal toggles arm/disarm condition HT6280. decoder state signal been received (the signal encoder) lights flash twice continuously, chirp sounds twice successively alarm system enters disarm state. Similarly, arm/disarm signal received again lights also flash once, chirp sounds once, alarm system enters state. timing arm/disarm shown below.
Fig.1 panic/alarm trigger state
HT6280
Alarm triggering (AL+, AL-, TRIG)
With alarm state, three signals AL+, AL-, TRIG trigger alarm. Triggering alarm causes lights flash rate (OPT2=VSS) siren sound. trigger removed within cycles, flashing lights siren cease that cycle; otherwise they complete cycles. cycle lasts
seconds seconds off. During alarm trigger flashes rate then continues even trigger removed. Activating (the alarm reset line) will turn addition lights siren. AL+, TRIG lines disabled disarm state, panic function still enabled. timing alarm trigger shown below.
Fig.2 Alarm trigger (AL+, AL-, TRIG) state
Panic control
panic signal (D13) been received whether disarm state, siren sounds flash lights lasts
cycle until activated. will flash quickly then turn activated whether siren working stop state. timing shown below.

HT6280
Alarm output (SIREN) Encoder/Decoder reference table
trigger (AL+, AL-, TRIG) been removed within period cycles, SIREN will stop that cycle. Otherwise will continue complete another period cycles. timing cycle about seconds seconds off. alarm state quitted arm/disarm (D12) trigger. panic turns (active high) whether disarm state, SIREN will output cycle seconds seconds off). alarm state ferminated active high signal. SIREN outputs 80ms pulse when HT6280 enters state. then outputs pulses (Pulse width=80ms Pulse space=240ms) when decoder enters disarm state arm/disarm (D12) trigger. This function inhibited floating OPT1.

After active high input activated, alarm system enters disarm state, arm/disarm (D12), panic, other control signals fail received, stops flashing.
output
LOCK UNLOCK pins activated initial power LOCK outputs 2-second pulse when HT6280 enters state. UNLOCK pin, other hand, outputs 2-second pulse when decoder enters disarm state. LOCK UNLOCK pins cannot operate simultaneously LOCK takes priority over UNLOCK. timing shown Fig.1.
FLASH output
outputs "Hi" signal when HT6280 operating state. Otherwise outputs "Lo" signal.
ON/OFF output
ON/OFF provides external toggle on/off control when HT6280 responds signal from encoder. ON/OFF timing shown below.
FLASH outputs pulse when HT6280 enters state pulses when decoder enters disarm state. After siren operates, light will flash rate until siren ceases. This function inhibited floating OPT2.
