Standalone/microcontroller selector switch This switch selects operation standalone mode microcontroller interface mode. standalone mode, turn switch lower side. microcontroller, turn switch upper side. When microcontroller connected, necessary signals connected 20-pin connector. connector pins arranged shown below. standalone computer used, turn SIRI switch lower side.

Serial input interface/parallel input interface selector switch When microcontroller used, this switch selects serial inputs addresses command data parallel inputs them. serial inputs, turn switch upper side. parallel inputs, turn switch lower side. Standby selector switch When switch turned lower side board activated toward next phrase within second after voice terminated, board enters standby state. standby state, functions stopped.) BUSY/NAR switching jumper When jumper turned upper side, BUSY signal output from 20-pin connector. When jumper turned lower side, signal output from 20-pin connector. When standalone computer used, jumper upper side. AMP/TR switching jumpers amplify analog signal which output from AOUT, with transistors, jumpers left side. amplify with amplifier, turn jumpers right. Address specification switch When standalone computer used, select word reproduced this switch. this switch correspond binary data. When microcontroller used, switch output This outputs voice signal passed through path filter. When converter selected option, this works converter pin.
Semiconductor Frequency check (OSC3) This monitors checks oscillation frequency.
MSM6650 BOARD
Variable resistor (VR2) adjusting frequency oscillation. This variable resistor change frequency oscillation. When resistor turned right, frequency goes low. When resistor turned left, frequency goes high. this case, frequency monitored OSC3. OSC/GND switching jumper jumper side. Complete input interface When standalone mode used, press buttons play voices corresponding SW0. Press lower left button (random voice playback button) play voices that randomly selected from types phrases corresponding SW0. But, when switch pressed while turning power during input RESET, firstly voice playback made starting from phrase beyond secondly made randomly. Speaker amplifier volume (VR1 shared Turn volume switch right increase sound volume. Turn volume switch left reduce sound volume.
