Laser 2000, A2300-Type Analog Laser Module contains high-performance, Indium Gallium Arsenide Phosphide, multiquantum-well, distributedfeedback laser chip designed 1310 single-mode fiber-optic applications. module industrystandard, 14-pin butterfly-type, hermetic, metal/ceramic package houses laser chip well integral thermoelectric cooling/heating device, thermistor, integral optical isolator, laser backfacet optical monitor. module equipped with Hytrel* jacketed, core, single-mode fiber; several standard fiber-optic connector options also available. integral thermoelectric cooler (TEC) provides stable thermal characteristics laser chip, well optical isolator back-facet monitor photodiode. allows heating cooling these internal optical components maintain their temperature constant over entire ambient operating temperature range thermistor monitors internal module temperature provides feedback control TEC. This gives A2300-type laser 2000 superior, stable optical characteristics.
