This provides ability adjust offset bias independently VDD. These unique features allow SED1610 interface with variety panels. SED1630 used conjunction with SED1600 segment driver) SED1601 segment driver) SED1620 (128-bit segment driver) drive large-capacity matrix panel.

DRIVING POWER SUPPLY
FORMING VOLTAGE LEVELS
simplest obtaining each voltage level driving LCDs apply resistance division technique. Each voltage level must sufficiently accurate stable provide high-quality display. this, divided resistance must value possible within capacity system power. Especially where power dissipation primary concern, recommended have each level driven operational amplifier form voltage follower rather than setting high divided resistance. allow using operational amplifier above purpose, highest voltage level driving SED1610F isolated from VDD. However, recommended range 2.5V because larger potential difference between lower driving output capability. circuit must shorted operational amplifier used.
POWER-ON/-OFF
SED1610F uses high voltages drive LCDs. high voltage applied driving circuit with logic circuit power held floating, large current will flow into LSI, sometimes causing damage sure take following procedure when turning power off: Power-on: Logic circuit drive circuit both circuits same time. Power-off: drive circuit logic circuit off, both circuits same time. Connect protection resister more than series prevent overcurrent.
