Purpose
Chemical Substance Management Rank Guidelines specify applicable chemical substances their ranking promote comprehensive management chemical substances Matsushita Electric Group. This Version which contains updated list chemical substances designated PRTR Law, supersedes Version which originally published March 1999.
Scope
These guidelines applied chemical substances contained products used during manufacturing processes. materials procured from suppliers Group also apply these guidelines. following cases, guidelines applied. Chemical substances contained parts materials comprising manufacturing facilities equipment, construction buildings facilities, refrigeration airconditioning equipment Chemical substances contained electrical equipment, measuring equipment, fire extinguishing equipment, measuring instruments Chemical substances used research development (When applicable chemical substance commercialized, application this ranking will considered.) Chemical substances used quality control, fault analysis health control By-products ranked substances that need appropriate management. Impurities excluded from rank, when social impact admitted, they will applied. These guidelines premised compliance with laws, ordinances, industry guidelines, other requirements. These guidelines rule more stringent self-imposed restraint.
Revision
These guidelines reviewed once year Chemical Substance Management Subcommittee. However, following cases, guidelines reviewed when necessary. Changes public expectations expressed form revisions laws regulations, etc. Progress technological trends (alternative technology, assessment technology) Hazard data, more accurate exposure data risk assessment data Progress identification Matsushita Electric Group (PRTR survey, purchased materials survey)
Applicable Chemical Substances
These guidelines designate substance groups (1413 substances) listed `Section List chemical substances.' This table shows grounds choosing these chemical substance groups.
