True Zero-Speed, Two-Wire, Miniature Gear Tooth Sensor
ATS643LSH optimized Hall-effect sensing integrated circuit magnet combination that provides user-friendly solution true zero-speed digital gear-tooth sensing two-wire applications. sensor consists single-shot molded plastic package that includes samarium cobalt magnet, pole piece, Hall effect that been optimized magnetic circuit. This small package easily assembled used conjunction with wide variety gear shapes sizes. integrated circuit incorporates dual element Hall-effect sensor signal processing circuitry that switches response differential magnetic signals created ferrous targets. device contains sophisticated compensating circuit eliminate magnet system offsets. Digital tracking analog signal used achieve true zero speed operation. converters used adjust device gain offset power resulting independent switch-points, which greatly improves output accuracy. regulated current output configured two-wire operation. This sensor ideal obtaining speed duty cycle information gear-tooth-based applications such transmission speed sensing.
