131-Type photodetectors represent family lowprofile, high-reliability pigtailed devices specially engineered rigorous demands either analog applications digital fiber-optic applications. These photodetectors based upon Lucent Technologies' patented Advanced Lightwave Platform technology, permitting high optical coupling stability unparalleled performance. Low-profile package choices 8-lead 3-lead out-the-back style, thus allowing pinoutequivalent replacements lower-performance coaxial-type packages. Their profile makes them ideal close board-to-board spacing situations. 131-Type Photodetectors contain rearilluminated planar diode structure. Lucent Technologies employs unique diode processing steps achieve capacitance highly linear active area that ensures wide dynamic operating range. Responsivity typically >0.85 with rise fall times <0.5 wavelength.
