HIGH-VOLTAGE, HIGH-CURRENT DARLINGTON ARRAYS
Featuring continuous load current ratings each drivers, Series ULN28xxA/LW ULQ28xxA/LW highvoltage, high-current Darlington arrays ideally suited interfacing between low-level logic circuitry multiple peripheral power loads. Typical power loads totaling over (350 controlled appropriate duty cycle depending ambient temperature number drivers turned simultaneously. Typical loads include relays, solenoids, stepping motors, magnetic print hammers, multiplexed incandescent displays, heaters. devices feature open-collector outputs with integral clamp diodes. ULx2803A, ULx2803LW, ULx2823A, ULN2823LW have series input resistors selected operation directly with CMOS. These devices will handle numerous interface needs particularly those beyond capabilities standard logic buffers. ULx2804A, ULx2804LW, ULx2824A, ULN2824LW have series input resistors operation directly from CMOS PMOS logic outputs. ULx2803A/LW ULx2804A/LW standard Darlington arrays. outputs capable sinking will withstand least state. Outputs paralleled higher load current capability. ULx2823A/LW ULx2824A/ will withstand state. These Darlington arrays furnished 18-pin dual in-line plastic packages (suffix `A') 18-lead small-outline plastic packages (suffix `LW'). devices pinned with outputs opposite inputs facilitate ease circuit board layout. Prefix `ULN' devices rated operation over temperature range -20°C +85°C; prefix `ULQ' devices rated operation -40°C.
