Low-Voltage, Single-Supply, SPST CMOS Analog Switches
MAX4594-MAX4597 single-pole/single-throw (SPST) analog switches operate from single +2.0V +5.5V supply. MAX4594/MAX4596 switches normally open (NO), MAX4595/MAX4597 normally closed (NC). MAX4596/MAX4597 pinouts optimized highest SC70 package off-isolation available. These switches have on-resistance (RON), with flatness over analog signal range when powered from supply. MAX4594-MAX4597 offer 0.5nA leakage currents fast switching times less than 40ns. They packaged ultra-small 5-pin SC70.

Applications Information
Analog Signal Levels
Analog signals range over supply voltage GND) with on-resistance changing very little over entire range (see Typical Operating Characteristics). MAX4594-MAX4597 bidirectional, pins used either inputs outputs.

Power-Supply Sequencing Overvoltage Protection
Proper power-supply sequencing recommended CMOS devices. On-resistance increases small amount supply voltages. Maximum supply voltage (V+) must exceed Protection diodes also protect against some overvoltage situations. fault voltage absolute maximum rating analog signal input does damage device, even supply voltage below signal voltage.
