Description
MTC1215 multiplexer (MUX) operating rates 12.5 Gb/s SONET OC-192, STM-64, proprietary system applications. multiplexer accepts differential data channels nominal rate Mb/s combines them into Gb/s serial data stream suitable transmission over high speed fiberoptic networks. MTC1215 accepts clock from host system divides into clock which used strobe sixteen Mb/s data channels into MUX. user controlled phase selecter provided align phase clock with incoming data minimum error rate (BER). Gb/s data output retimed with respect external high speed clock using internal flip flop (DFF). maximum flexibility, internal Phase Frequency Detector (PFD) with external reference clock input provided. used combination with external loop filter synchronize output with reference clock ultra jitter data transmission. data clock Current Mode Login (CML) buffers provided with on-chip terminations minimize external component count. MTC1215 provided pin, metal ceramic, quad flat pack (QFP) operates from single -3.3V power supply. circuitry designed equipment which required comply with Bellcore, ANSI, ITU-T international standards SONET systems.
