T HE W ORLD L EADER I N D S P A ND A NALOG 1394 Serial Bus Devices TSB41LV03AI TSB41LV03AI Product Description The TSB41LV03AI TSB41LV03AI provides 400 Mbps performance for the most demanding applications such as hard disk drives (HDD), hosts and multimedia peripherals. The TSB41LV03AI TSB41LV03AI supports serial bus data rates of 100, 200, and 400 Mbps and interfaces directly to TI link layer I 1A V0 devices of all three data rates. The device also supports optional elec2L B1 trical isolation. There are three cable ports available on the TS TSB41LV03AI TSB41LV03AI. Each cable port incorporates two differential line transceivers. The transceivers include circuitry to monitor the line condition as needed or determine connection status, initialization and arbitration, and packet reception and transmission. The device is fully compliant with IEEE 1394-1995 and 1394.a including all PHY requirements for OHCI and full suspend/resume functionality and meets the 400 Mbps requirement for Microsoft's PC'98 from a single 3.3-V supply. 1 94 3 Designer Kits are available today that allow a starting point for designs.
