This interface supports the full duplex transmission of two B channel and one D channel of digitized voice and data at the rate of 160Kpbs over a single unshield twisted pair cable. With 2B1Q and 4B3T line coding Technique for North American and Europe area respectively, it provide 80K baud rate and 120K baud rate for North American and Europe area respectively.
