Philips Low Pin Count Microcontroller Programmer P76xLCP SD Description The P76xLCP SD Programmer has been specially designed to be a low cost but fully featured unit capable of programming the full range of Philips Low Pin Count microcontrollers. The P76xLCP SD is supplied in a lower half protective plastic case that also enables it to comply with the European CE radiation requirements. FEATURES n Supports the full Philips LPC (Low Pin Count) family n 20 Pin ZIF socket allows programming 20, 16, and 8 pin DIP packages n Adapters available for SO packages n Able to be ganged together for bulk programming n Universal 100 to 260 Volt A.C. power supply supplied n Complies with European CE specifications n Simple to use n 32Bit Windows software included (95, 98, NT) n On-line help: context sensitive, hypertext style The single 20 pin ZIF programming socket is wired to allow future 16 and 8 pin packages to be programmed as well as the current 20 pin DIP package. Adapters are available for different package types such as the 20pin SOL. The programmer is designed to be simple to operate with the results of each action indicated both on the LED's on the print board and on the computer screen display. Individual function buttons may be used or a fully automatic blank, program, verify, and secure sequence is available. The software allows for separate programming of the special configuration bytes although we still suggest that this should be an integral part of the initial software design. You are also able to gang up to eight programmers together thus shortening the overall program time when there are a large quantity of devices to program. This is achieved by a simple 4 way cable connecting each programmer together. The software automatically senses this, and the programmer is placed into gang mode. The P76xLCP SD programmer is supplied with a universal 100 to 260 Volt A.C. power supply that has an IEC 3 pin power socket on the input. An RS232 RS232 cable and a 9 to 25 pin RS232 RS232 adapter are supplied.
