It packs two low noise µCap LDOs (150mA and 300mA), a Power-On-Reset (POR) with programmable delay time, and a keypad backlight driver into the new slim and light 3mm x 3mm MLFTM package. In addition to the integration, the MIC2214 MIC2214 consumes, in total, a miserly 48µA of current in full operation. This power-saving feature is critical to handheld electronic devices where they spend 80% of their lifetime in stand-by mode. This allows the electronic device to sustain a longer operation from a single battery charge cycle.
