The following Sanyo semiconductor products will be discontinued and will only be available to existing customers on a limited basis. Please make a note of these changes. 1. Affected products See the table on the following page. 2. Reason for Discontinuation and Limited Availability While lead was previously used in electronic equipment and semiconductor products (including CCDs), concern for the environment has led to efforts to achieve lead-free manufacturing. Sanyo also made efforts towards moving towards leadfree products for its CCD products through 2004. Therefore, we are now announcing that the products listed on the following page are being discontinued and will only be available to existing customers on a limited basis. Please make a note of these changes. 3. Replacement or Similar Products None. 4. Implementation Date January 2005.
