January 31, 2005 CN-501312 CN-501312 Product Change Notification M02049-14 M02049-14 Device Qualification Status Upgrade Dear Valued Customer: This notice is to inform you that Mindspeed Technologies has upgraded the device status of the M02049-14P M02049-14P (prototype) to M02049-14 M02049-14 (production ramp/pre-production) device qualification status. Purpose The purpose of the device qualification is to ensure that all Mindspeed products meet internal requirements for process, package, configuration and product compliance in accordance with Mindspeed Quality Assurance and Reliability department specifications. Description of Change The M02049-14 M02049-14 device will no longer be manufactured and/or marked using the prototype (P) configuration on the 16 lead QFN/MLF package. The part number(s) will change as follows: M02049-14P M02049-14P M02049-14 M02049-14 will become Change Schedule The device marking changes will take effect starting with any M02049-14 M02049-14 product manufactured after January 31, 2005. Qualification Data Pre-production level reliability testing has been performed and passed in accordance with published Mindspeed requirements. Customer Impact This change should not cause any disruption or impact. Any M02049-14 M02049-14 product acquired from Mindspeed Technologies on or after January 31, 2005, will not require product wavier documentation and shall be treated as fully compliant product regardless of any existing (P) device markings. This product is in full compliance with the aforementioned reliability results and meets all supplied device specifications.
